A little bit about me: I am the second trumpet in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, a position I have held for the past two years. Prior to joining the ISO in 2021, I lived Dayton, Ohio and was a member of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. In addition to these positions, I have also held positions with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra in Richmond, Virginia, and the Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra, also in Virginia. I have also performed with other notable orchestras including the West Virginia Symphony, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra (OH), and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Beyond my work in the orchestral field, I have had an extensive career recording and touring nationally and internationally with The King’s Brass. I have trumpet performance degrees from Cedarville Unversity (B.M. 2009) and The Cleveland Institute of Music (M.M. 2011). My primary teachers have been Charles Pagnard, Michael Miller, and Michael Sachs.

PRIVATE LESSONS AND MASTERCLASSES
I maintain a private studio in the greater Indianapolis area, teaching both out of my own home and at various locations, depending on the needs of each student or situation. Students of mine have successfully auditioned for youth orchestras and honor bands, earned Superior ratings at state Solo and Ensemble events, and been accepted to prominent college music programs. If you or your child are motivated to learn the trumpet and would like private instruction of the highest level, tailored specifically to each student’s needs, please make contact through the form below!
